We're excited to announce the launch of Think Forward – a new digital home for thoughtful commentary and informed opinion about the important issues facing Southern California. This platform brings together written and audio commentary from across the LA Forward family of organizations -- LA Podcast, What’s Next Los Angeles?, and Report Forward; plus an entirely new feature -- a forum of original opinion essays. It's part of our mission to demystify government, advance justice, and fight for democracy locally.

Why Think Forward Matters: As the billionaire owner of the LA Times threatens to drag the paper's editorial page into MAGA territory, we believe that having a trusted, independent source of informed commentary about local government and politics is more important than ever. There are fewer and fewer active forums for civic debate in our region and we need more of them. Think Forward is part of the solution
